LXI - Fairy Tale

[ LXI - Fairy Tale ]

Once upon a time, there was a lake said that it could cure unhappiness. There was a prince who lost his beloved and was so sad that he couldn't succeed his father. His family decided to send him to find the lake so he could be happy again.

After days and days of research he found it. It was a beautiful lake with a shining water, all the trees around looked as bright, a relaxing view. But as calm he felt, he was still empty and sad. He walked in the water, like attracted by it, and then drowned. But the spirit of the lake didn't let him die, and he just fell asleep in the bottom of the lake.

Years passed by, the rumors about the lake changed. It was said that there was a fairy or a princess sleeping in the lake, and that she could bring happiness to the one who could wake her.

One day, came a prince from a faraway land, who got disinherited. He was looking for the lake so he could bring back a princess with her wealth to his kingdom and get his throne back.

But once he arrived to the lake, he did't hear the voice of a princess nor a fairy, but the laments of a man in the water. He walked in, and after two steps a white-haired man emerged from the water, making the water glow. He reached out his arm, like he would drown again if no one caught it, then the prince did the same and touched his hand.
With that, the sad prince was free from the water and from his sorrow.

Since the sad prince slept in the water for years, he wasn't the future king anymore, and since the other prince was exiled from his land, they could live without worries together.




FORGIVE MY POOR ENGLISH, it's a looong text and it was hard to write it, feel free to correct me ;A;


I... wanted to try working with salt but it failed... *sigh*
Added white ink and Photoshop then.

I also wanted to draw them in prince outfits but... I got super uber lazy halfway... =o='
Anyway it's the last drawing I made at Mrs X's place... will stop spamming you for now!
